Orthodox Presbyterian minister and chaplain Christopher Wisdom was born in East Orange, New Jersey. After graduating from Nyack College in 1973, Mr. Wisdom served on the staff of Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship until 1976. He then enrolled at Westminster Theological Seminary and joined Trinity OPC, Hatboro with his wife, Virginia. Ordained as a deacon at Trinity Church, he graduated with his M.Div. from WTS in 1980.
The next year he was ordained as a gospel minister by the Presbytery of the Dakotas to labor as an associate pastor and then evangelist in Roswell, New Mexico, in order to plant a new congregation in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1984 Covenant of Grace OPC, Albuquerque, became a particular church of the OPC. In 1986 he started dual service as associate pastor for military ministry for Grace OPC, San Antonio, Texas, working as a chaplain in the U.S. Army. When he retired in 2014 from the Army at the rank of Colonel, Mr. Wisdom held the title of Europe Region Chaplain, Installation Management Command.
